A little about me
I bring over 20 years of experience working alongside individuals, couples and families, with a particular interest in the ways our relationships, connections and broader social worlds shape our experiences.
I see counselling as a collaborative and reflective space — a place where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, explore what matters to you, and consider new possibilities, I believe therapy is a process of working together, at your own pace and in a way that feels meaningful to you.
My practice is informed by contemporary systemic and relational thinking,
with an appreciation of the ways language, relationships, power and broader social contexts
can influence how we understand ourselves and our lives.
I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including systemic therapy,
psychodynamic thinking, Internal Family Systems (IFS),
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR Levels 1 & 2), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, holding a Master of Social Work (Qualifying) and a Master of Social Work (Forensic Studies).
